Verdict

DIAMOND FORT has had a stop-start career over fences so far but there has been promise among a couple of disappointments and he’s well treated if a break and first-time blinkers combine to good effect. French import Da Vinci Hand is worth a market check and Black Buble has been getting closer but Generation Gap looks a bigger threat after a morale-boosting victory at Exeter in April.
