Verdict

None of those with experience showed a great deal on debut with the possible exception of Kaloci so it may pay to concentrate on the newcomers. Warren Greatrex farms these mares’ bumpers and his Westerner filly DORY is a half-sister to two winning jumpers. She’ll know her job and will probably take all the beating. Ridgeway Pearl is a half-sister to Tara Road, who won a bumper before later scoring over hurdles and fences. Fingareeta is a full sister to the stable’s Hexham bumper winner Schiaparannie and is also worth a second look.
