Daveron gets little respite form the handicapper but usually runs his race and Matt Griffiths takes off 3lb. Improving Exeter winner SIR IVAN (NAP) has to be of interest as he doesn't look badly treated on his handicap debut. He gets the nod ahead of the hat-trick seeking Beg To Differ, who is upped in grade off a higher mark. Kashmir Peak is climbing the weights without winning while Smooth Stepper's winning run came to an end at Newcastle last month and he's another on a high enough mark at present. Rock On Rocky tries a new trip and Hollow Tree doesn't look capable of winning in this grade any more.
