        Verdict

        Paddy The Hare got off the mark over 2m here in July and wasn't disgraced over C&D on his penultimate start, though doesn't appear to be progressing. Winning pointer Monbeg Dude kept on well over C&D last month and makes more appeal than Peter Bowen's pair Derwen Pryde and Miss Kalifa, though will undoubtedly be better on soft going. D'Gigi has scope but may just need this and MISTOFFELEES is probably the one to beat. A dual winner on the Flat for Luca Cumani, he made a very decent debut for Donald McCain over 2m here earlier this month and should stay the extra today as long as the ground doesn't deteriorate.
