In depth

Verdict

Spin Point won on the Flat in Ireland and wouldn’t need to be anything special to make a winning start over timber - his yard is in good form. Man Look and Putting Green are other Flat winners but they’ve been disappointing so far over hurdles and may do better when going handicapping. Quids In has shown promise in both starts so has to go on the short-list but BROUGHTONS RHYTHM should now be approaching peak fitness after a couple of runs and Henry Spiller’s eight-year-old has the best overall form. Cervin did little in the French Provinces and has his first start for new connections.
