Verdict

Transient Bay won this last year but has shown little since and is still 3lb higher. Arden Denis has to go on the short-list as he’s another previous course and distance winner and he was only beaten a neck at Bangor last time over a longer trip. Spectator successful stepped up to this trip at Musselburgh but this will be a bigger test of his stamina off a 5lb higher mark. QUIDS IN recorded his only victory so far on this card 12 months ago. Dropped a further pound since a staying-on fifth at Doncaster, his turn may have come around again. Final Choice will strip fitter for last month’s third at Newbury but didn’t last home when tried over this distance at Newbury a year ago.
