In depth
Verdict
This should chiefly concern those in the top half of the handicap. Empty The Tank beat a subsequent winner here in July and followed up at Southwell but needs more if he is to complete the hat-trick under a penalty. Mandy's Boy is well treated nowadays and appears to be getting his act together again while The Kvilleken won at Stratford and Market Rasen before finding 2m6f too far last time. OPERATEUR has a first and a third from two previous starts over course and distance. He's not sparkled on the Flat recent but maybe a return to hurdles will rekindle enthusiasm as he doesn't look badly handicapped. Cornish Beau could also figure if back on song.
