Verdict

SUN TZU won by 18 lengths over C&D on his first start for Peter Bowen. The seven-year-old may now be ready to fulfil his undoubted potential over fences and should be good enough to defy his penalty in this. The danger is probably See You Jack, who got off the mark at Fakenham last month, as Chevy To The Levy hasn't shown a great deal since winning a novice event at Hereford in September. The Wicketkeeper is likely to need this and the other pair have a little to prove at present.
