Samandara gets the confident vote in this mares only novices hurdle with Topanberry and Shady Grey rating the main dangers. The selection held every chance when falling two out in a race won by Shady Grey last time out. That rival is sure to have her supporters but she will do well to give weight and a beating to the selection if she puts in a clear round. Topanberry rates another big danger on her latest third behind My Lady Link but although she travels well in her races she finds little off the bridle and for that reason is passed over on this occasion. Blueberry Ice is another with place claims on her latest third behind Settlement Craic but she will do well to give weight and a beating to some less exposed types. Of the remainder Colnside Brook would have a chance on her best form but may need the run after a 398 day absence and for the winner we return to Samandara in the hope that she puts in a fluent round of jumping.
