Irish Blessing lines up in form and can beat this large field, with Coxwell Cossack, Crazy Mazie and Oro Street all expected to play a part in proceedings. Irish Blessing finally regained the winning thread when landing a similar event to this at Chepstow in March, and was also successful at Wetherby in April. Those were his first wins since his Irish days when he scored on the Flat at Sligo for Dermot Weld, and although it has taken five years, he can now pay to follow in this mediocre grade. There are no doubts about his stamina, and with Mick Fitzgerald booked to ride, he makes most appeal. Coxwell Cossack has been off for a while but had some fair placed form in the context of this race, while Crazy Mazie was fancied when winning in this grade over the course and distance 12 months ago. She is another that has been sidelined though, along with Oro Street who has plenty of weight. Nothing else merits a mention, and unless there is a springer in the market, it is best to stick with the proven form of Irish Blessing.
