Verdict

A small field and Patman Du Charmil gets the vote ahead of The Real Deal. The selection represents a stable who have started this season with a real bang and having won easily ten days ago, the five-year-old is fancied to dominate this small field and he could induce mistakes by his rivals. The ground suits, and he is the confident nomination. The main danger could be the chasing debutante The Real Deal. Whilst he is returning from a lengthy absence, he was rated 133 over hurdles, higher than Patman Du Charmil. If he has been well-schooled and jumps proficiently, then he looks a real player. Seafield Bogie knows how to win around sharp tracks so mustn't be ruled out although he didn't appear to have too many excuses last time. Vulan's Ash is out of his depth, whilst Predicament completes the field but is yet to win in 13 starts over fences. This looks a decent opportunity then for Patman Du Charmil to win again.
