Hurricane Dylan will have needed his run at Southwell in February and went close subsequently at Market Rasen. It would be no surprise if he went one better today as he doesn’t have many miles on the clock. Emerald Chieftan only found an odds-on favourite too good on his debut under Rules at Sedgefield but the in-form Ian Williams has only one runner on the card so it will be disappointing if SECRET LEGACY doesn’t build on placed efforts at Carlisle and Haydock in better company. Hangard hasn’t yet learned to settle but this step up in trip is likely to suit Sedgefield second Scottshill as he stayed 3m between the flags.
