Verdict

BIG MEADOW hasn’t been in the best of form lately but has tumbled down the weights and is a course and distance winner. Eased in grade, it will be disappointing if he can’t give weight to modest opposition. Alto Des Mottes is another who can’t get much lower in the weights but Scottshill is less exposed and can be forgiven his mishap at Bangor, where he was hampered. Cruising Bye wasn’t disgraced on his reappearance at Southwell but Crawfords Mill may need his first run for a new stable.
