In depth

Verdict

Dream Performance and Genstone Trail are asked to concede weight all round but both appeared to have their limitations exposed when well beaten in the race won by Baby Shine at Huntingdon. It would be disappointing if one of a host of interesting newcomers was not good enough to overcome the aforementioned pair, especially with many representing yards that do notably well in these contests. EMILY'S FLYER, Surf Like A Lady and Scholastica all make appeal on breeding with the former, a half-sister to top-class hurdler Feathard Lady, awarded the tentative vote. Fair Bramble, Flite and Set In Her Ways are others to note in what should be a significant betting market.
