In depth

Verdict

Minellacelebration is still 9lb higher than when landing the Summer Cup here last July and it remains to be seen how quickly he’s recovered from a run in the Grand National when he unseated his rider on the first circuit. Potters Legend had only three rivals at Fakenham in March but was second in a Grade 2 handicap off this mark in January so can’t be ignored. King Of Realms looks as though he’s found his form again and is potentially well treated but Solomon Grey’s suspect stamina will be under scrutiny if Dandy Dan adopts his usual front-running tactics. Ofalltheginjoints showed all was not lost when fifth at Aintree but the six-year-old ALMAZHAR GARDE has returned from a break in good form and a 7lb rise after an easy win at Kelso is not insurmountable.
