Verdict
No Rematch’s only chase win came off a 6lb higher mark but he’s not the force of old. Beyond Redemption was well beaten at Ffos Las after winning at Wincanton but still finished ahead of Last Quarter, just touched off next time. Oneupmanship hasn’t taken to fences but TIP TOP MOUNTAIN (NAP) has won four times over the larger obstacles. Robert Walford’s gelding has two wins and a place from three previous runs here and was more than 20 lengths ahead of recent Newcastle second Gold Emery here in January.
