        Verdict

        TYRUS EXPRESS was an impressive winner here last month, starting odds-on and coming home clear of Untamed Tiger. Not surprisingly he's up in the ratings and has a change of jockey but should have the legs of these. Gentleman's Wager has shown marked improvement since tackling Greyville's Polytrack though he'd won well over a longer trip here in November. Major Return, from Mike Azzie's yard, is smart on his day but Popsicle Toes will probably need the run after a break since October. Zeal And Zest will have found the trip a bit short last time and he's better over 1m4f.
