In depth

Verdict

Misty Millie has mainly been out of form over hurdles but made a bold bid to lead all over 1m5f at Ballinrobe in June where she was only caught in the closing stages. Miss Louise went up 8lb for a convincing victory at Fairyhouse and looked a few pounds high at Ballinrobe next time. Vita Veritas was returning from a long break at Galway a couple of weeks ago and would have a chance on last year's form while the front-running maiden Queen Amanirenas ran her best race over this trip at Down Royal. No Trouble broke a blood vessel at Bellewstown but still managed to finish third and his previous two runs put him in the frame though the vote goes to CRAIC EILE, still a maiden after 10 starts on the Flat but twice a winner over hurdles on this track this summer including on Thursday.
