Verdict

Willie Mullins runs three here with Ruby choosing Pylonthepressure, a winner at Thurles last February and subsequently taking on much better class. Paul Townend's mount Class Conti has won four times in France and has to be respected on his stable debut but Augustin has a long absence to overcome having not been seen since finishing last in a Killarney handicap last May. Monatomic has problems with the fences though his overall form puts him in the frame if standing up. Dual hurdles winner BEYOND THE LAW has been competing at a much higher level and his second to Real Steel at Fairyhouse would put him in the frame so he gets the nod as Velocity Boy ran poorly at Navan.
