Verdict

Three-year-olds have generally held sway in this but are in the minority this year. First Emperor has been pretty consistent in similar company and shouldn’t be far away again. Explorers Way has found only one too good the last twice, including over this trip last time at Fairyhouse, but his stablemate Six Feet Apart is also interesting having turned into a decent hurdler last winter. A dual bumper winner, CARRAREA was also a useful novice over timber in the winter months and Emmet Mullins' charge may offer some value in this if fully wound-up. Fourofakind could also figure if getting a run from his reserve spot.
