Final Flashback won a claimer at this meeting a year ago in very easy fashion and, though not the most consistent, is dropped to a lowly mark and must be a threat to all. The former Clive Brittain-trained BAZERGAN is another who has been slipping down the handicap and his last two runs, both over this trip on quick ground, suggest he's ready to gain his first success for new connections. Sprit Diamond showed a little promise here in June but ran poorly at Leopardstown last time while The Pier appears to need plenty of give. Deauville Post, a recruit from the Richard Hannon yard, didn't stay 1m6f at Musselburgh but has won over this trip on fast ground and Polytrack and is no forlorn hope.
