Willie Mullins' mare Kilcomer makes a belated debut but has a stout pedigree so the conditions should be in her favour. Briar Lane has done well in testing ground so should get into contention but Sandycove Island set too strong a pace at Punchestown and was soon done with. The latter can probably do better but this looks one for Gordon Elliott and Nina Carberry via DELEGATE. He ran four times in bumpers before making his hurdling debut against the classy Long Dog at Limerick where he fell at the last. He may just have needed a confidence-booster on his next start and, reverting to a bumper, looks the right option.
