Verdict

BRIDES HILL started favourite for a Galway Festival handicap and though unable to reach Clonbury Bridge was staying on and can give Darragh O'Keeffe another winner. Trebizond has been well supported in both starts to date and is the type to show improvement while More Than A Prince had shown potential at Sligo before falling at the first at Galway. With his yard in top form, Duck And Varnish should show some progress and was narrowly beaten on the Flat at Sligo last week. Custers Mistake had been in decent form on the Flat before falling when in touch on his hurdling debut at Cork.
