Verdict

Dawerann finished fourth to Hidden Cyclone in a similar race at Killarney and this longer trip is in his favour. Skilled had Nina Carberry in the saddle when runner-up to Grand Partner at Leopardstown and the partnership should be thereabouts again but Do Try Dolly hasn't been in the best of form over hurdles this summer. Glendine River won a Cork bumper in May but this can go to LILLY'S EXPRESS. Peter Fahey's mare had shown promise in bumpers before staying on very strongly behind Swamp Fox in a similar race at Ballinrobe and the winner went on to land a very tough handicap at Galway.
