Verdict

Most Honourable scored on good ground here and at Clonmel before finding testing conditions against him at Listowel. He can do better while Annie Alainn wasn't at her best at Killarney in July after scoring at Roscommon a few days earlier. The lightly-raced Eric The Third was around three lengths behind Most Honourable here in August but made good progress to score at Kilbeggan where he had Safe Home behind. He's been raised 4lb but that appears unlikely to prevent another big effort. LAKE CHAPALA has produced his best runs to date over this trip on good ground as he did when a close second to Freedom Square at Gowran last week. He's yet to win a race but with conditions in his favour and a low weight he can finally get off the mark.
