Verdict

CARDAMON HILL couldn't get close enough to stablemate Caldwell Potter to mount a challenge at Punchestown but stayed on strongly and can go one better. Mote Park started a short-priced favourite for a Cork bumper a month ago but weakened in the straight. She'll be expected to do better but Tomas O Maille returned from a spell over hurdles to be beaten ten lengths into second at Sligo. Walk Out has a very smart pedigree and John Kiely has no problems getting one ready for a debut.
