Conna Cross was placed in half of his 14 runs over hurdles but never won. Double Island's jumping has been letting him down over fences but he did much better when stepped up to 2m4f at Kilbeggan so should be thereabouts with a clear round. Miracle Cure pulled up in his only start over fences for Venetia Williams but produced a much improved run over hurdles here in August. CASTLEWHITE was in fine form between the flags in the spring and made an encouraging debut over regulation fences when runner-up over this course and distance in August. She's had a spin over hurdles subsequently but chasing will be her game and she can get off the mark. Leader's Choice didn't have much chance on his chasing bow behind Miss Eyecatcher at Listowel and should do better here while Class Honours ran better than expected behind Coeur Joyeux at Sligo though was beaten a long way.
