Torcello was in excellent form on the Flat in the UK last summer winning three times. He's failed to sparkle over timber so far but the quicker ground should bring about some improvement. His former stable companion Count Simon gained his only victory on the Flat in heavy ground but he's making progress over timber and should be losing his maiden tag soon. After a narrow defeat at Killarney, GOLD SEAL started a short-priced favourite in a huge field at Tipperary but found one too good. The son of Galileo is the type to make strong progress this summer starting here. It's difficult making a case for the remainder though Bolbec, who was behind the selection at Killarney, will be better for the experience.
