AMIRICO is the pick in this affair with Problema Tic and Inner Steel on the short list. Venetia Williams' yard landed a right touch last week in a similar affair and the bookies will be taking no chances with Amirico. A stoutly bred sort, he ran a fair bit better than the market suggested at Huntingdon and gave the impresssion that he will be winning sooner rather than later. Problema Tic is a half brother to useful chaser, Inoxe Royale. It would be no surprise to see him improve greatly for some experience. Inner Steel ran well at Southwell's bumper card and represents a yard that can target these races. Giles Hawkins takes off a very valuable 5lb. Mister Teddy has an interesting booking with Richard Johnson doing the steering. The Tamure gelding does have to reverse form with our selection. Mytara represents a yard that can have them ready first time up so do not discount her if the market speaks positively. Pearl Seeker was disappointing on her first run but may find today's conditions to be much more favourable. Mabel Tasman is in receipt of all the allowances as a four-year-old filly taking on allcomers. A number of these are likely to be open to improvement and Amirico comes out top on our figures.
