Inherent gets the confident vote here with Butterfly Rose and Dovedale rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Lilac last time out. That form looks solid in the context of this race and she need only run up to that mark to score. Butterfly Rose rates the main danger on her latest fourth behind I'm Delilah, she looks sure to be suited by the step up in trip and should be watched in the market. Dovedale was a fair second behind Deep Purple last time out, that form has since been franked but she is one paced at the end of her races and is taken on with this in mind. Maggie Mathias was a fair sort in bumpers and is sure to have come on for her latest start but the suspicion is she will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Of the remainder Overbranch has had plenty of chances and for the winner we return to Inherent.
