Verdict

The James Evans-trained Prophete de Guye has a 7lb pull with AMMUNITION on their running at Exeter earlier this month but he is far from certain to reverse that form and Nigel Twiston-Davies' gelding can follow up that success and win again over a trip that suits. Kim Bailey's Basoda won well enough at Kempton last week but the penalty for that success makes this more difficult, while Andrew Turnell's Double The Trouble has harshly gone up 8lb for his win at Fontwell when last seen in April and looks best watched on his return. Tim Vaughan's House Of Bourbon, who was pulled up last time but had won his two previous starts, looks the best of the remainder.
