Verdict

Morestead isn't being allowed to rest on his laurels having finished second over a shorter trip here on Monday, but Marley Roca and Fitandproperjob appear to have lost their way and Dungeness' jumping is also an area of concern. Morgan's Bay would have a chance on his defeat of Barenger at Leicester in February as he's starting to come down the weights again. But BERTIE'S DESIRE has come on in leaps and bounds since the turn of the year and, though raised 8lb since making all at Kempton, can complete the hat-trick for a yard that does well here with its chasers.
