Verdict

Act Four was sent off favourite on his racecourse debut at Sandown and wasn't beaten far. That race has sent out mixed messages but the overall form is decent and he has to go on the short-list here. But we just prefer BROTHER BRIAN, who did nothing wrong when second at Huntingdon on his introduction and is also certain to improve for the experience. I Am Colin, already second twice, should be thereabouts again while Magic Present ran well at Wetherby until lack of condition told and is preferred to Storm Lantern of the others.
