VALID POINT is three from three here over hurdles and would almost certainly have been involved in the finish at Newbury on his second start over fences had he not fallen four out. A promising second to the useful Baile Anrai at Leicester previously, he still has plenty of scope and can come out on top today. Like Rhum, Midnight Sail has a penalty to carry after winning at Fontwell last month but more is needed here. With McCoy booked, four-times hurdles winner Kasbadali is very interesting on his debut over the larger obstacles as he gave Phare Isle weight and a beating at Ascot in April while Valento comes here off the back of a hurdles win at Kempton and preferred to the one-paced Harvest Song.
