CHARTREUX was bowling along quite merrily until taking a soft fall on his chasing debut at Hereford. Providing that tumble hasn't affected his confidence, David Pipe's charge should open his account over the larger obstacles here. Universal Soldier is another interesting prospect, however, as he went very close on his chasing bow at Uttoxeter and was taking on much better opposition when pulled up behind Teaforthree at Chepstow subsequently. The others are very difficult to fancy off level weights.
