RATHER BE won a Grade 3 handicap over hurdles at Aintree in the spring. He could be a smart recruit to chasing and this is a nice starting point. War Sound has already come off worst against a couple of Nicky Henderson novices and is proving hard to place. Kayf Blanco fell on his chasing bow in May and was then beaten 30 lengths at Newton Abbot. He’s had a break but will need to improve his jumping. Ruby Rambler hasn’t raced since April last year and is tackling fences for the first time.
