SKENAKILLA CROSS finished fourth to previous winner Toubeera at Market Rasen on her debut earlier this month. With normal improvement, David O'Meara's mare looks up to opening her account in this company. Final Cast is one of her powerful stable's lesser lights on the evidence of her recent debut at Ludlow but she could prove the best of the remainder with experience while Splendid Blue, a half-sister to a winner over fences, makes most appeal of the newcomers ahead of Water Rose and Wilde Ruby.
