THEDREAMSTILLALIVE lived the dream when being gifted a race over fences last time, and he can continue in dreamland by following up here over hurdles from what looks a lenient mark. His hurdles mark is 12lb lower than that over fences, he stays very well, and soft ground suits, and in such a poor race the fact that he is in form is a major positive, so we will stick with him. Low Delta acts on any ground and also appreciates a stiff test of stamina, though he remains a maiden after 20 starts and will probably find at least one too good. Blue Hills is an interesting contender. Peter Hiatt's gelding stays well on the flat, where he races mainly on artificial surfaces. As a Southwell winner then he may be able to handle softer ground, and if the market speaks positively of his chance then he would look worth an interest. Little Rort needs a favour from the handicapper, while Yellow Jersey needs the ground to dry out significantly before racing, and we will oppose them all with Thedreamstillalive.
