Not a lot to go on and we will side with Crofters Lad to see off Marado and Nictos De Bersy. Crofters Lad ran well for a long way on his debut at Newbury and although one is asked to take a guess about the quality of the newcomers, this, on paper at least, does not look to be a stronger assignment. Marado is one of two runners from Henrietta Knight's stable; On jockey bookings, the Un Desparado gelding looks the pick. A 40 000 euro purchase, the market is watched. Red Rattle was cheaply bought in comparison and is related to a former stayers' hurdle winner. Nictos De Bersy should improve for an eyecatching debut whilst Bradley Boy looks likely to lead them off at a respectable pace. Little Bit Of Hush was scheduled to run at Haydock Park on Saturday. Crofters Lad looks to have all the ticks in the right boxes and we will take our chances on him this afternoon.
