In depth
Verdict
Venetia Williams won this a year ago so CLOWANCE HOUSE, who makes his debut over fences, gets the vote as he's shown a bit of potential over hurdles. Call It On, who scored over timber on fast ground at this time a year ago, has been going well enough over fences to be considered while Drom found 2m too short at Leicester after scoring over 2m5f there previously. Milgen Bay is generally consistent but disappointed when strongly fancied at Southwell and Satou probably needs further and softer ground than he's likely to get here. Present To You showed promise in the autumn but has gone backwards in his last three starts though in slightly better company.
