Welsh Rarebit showed improvement when third at Newcastle last time and appears to be going the right way. Progression should be forthcoming from Espalion and Eurkash, with the latter preferred of the pair after a satisfactory debut at Warwick last month when a fair seventh of 16. The newcomers should be checked in the market but JEN'S BOY could prove good enough. He represents the champion trainer who has a splendid record in such contests and ran better than his finishing position suggests on debut at Newbury. That was won by a very promising type and he should come on plenty for the experience in what rates a more straightforward assignment here.
