In depth

Verdict

Blinkers had the desired effect on Ceann Sibheal at Uttoxeter on Saturday and he’ll be a threat to all if the headgear works a second time, though he hasn’t had much time to recuperate. Oneida Tribe was possibly unlucky to be disqualified having come out best in a driving finish at Bangor last month but a 2lb rise rubs salt in the wound. GRAND INTRODUCTION is another making a swift appearance under a penalty but he has valuable course experience on his side so gets the nod. Colmers Hill fell last time and has done all of his racing over fences at Fontwell but stays well so can’t be ignored.
