      Verdict

      This is arguably the most interesting race on today’s card as a couple do, at least, have some potential. Winning pointer Searching For Gold was sent off favourite on his bumper debut at Southwell in November and wasn’t beaten far. Swinging Concerto pulled much too hard at Huntingdon last month and is capable of better while Arthington was third on the Polytrack on his second outing. SLIDING DOORS (NAP) probably saw too much daylight at Fontwell on his second start but he still ran well and that followed on from an unlucky debut at Musselburgh - Ian Williams’ four-year-old can make it third-time lucky.
