Eau Pure makes a quick reappearance and should follow up at the expense of Raygale and The Last Mohican. This is a very weak contest in which the recent victory of Eau Pure stands out. The ex-French mare was no great shakes for Brian Arthur Pearce but made an immediate impact on her first outing for Gary Moore at Fontwell three days ago, bolting up in an amateur riders' handicap at. The good to soft conditions on the hurdles track at Towcester will not inconvenience her, and she can make the most of the weight that she receives from Raygale. The latter has been off two months since finishing second here over two miles, but should be suited by the step up in trip and can make the frame. The Last Mohican is fit from the all-weather but is a frustrating sort and cannot be nominated with any confidence. In a weak race, Eau Pure has obvious claims.
