Another Jewel is just preferred to Ballyboe Boy and Ask The Umpire. Jonjo O'Neill's five-year-old is given the vote here despite a poor effort last time out. He pulled hard and raced awkwardly throughout. He is much better judged on his previous run at Newton Abbot when going down by just two lengths to Satcos Deception. A repeat of that effort should be good enough. Ballyboe Boy is from a yard flying at present and doesn't have to improve much to take a hand in the finish today. Ask The Umpire hasn't been seen out since March when running well in a better race at Leicester. If fit from his break he should be thereabouts this afternoon. Winding River ran well last time and could be best of the rest. All in all a pretty modest handicap and Another Jewel is given one more chance.
