BOLD POLICY is a speculative pick with Kirkhammerton and Vacario on the shortlist of dangers. Milton Harris tends to do well with his runners in this grade and while Bold Policy has a bit to find on official figures, it is worth noting that he was rated in the high 120's earlier last year so fingers are crossed that the blinkers work the oracle. Kirkhammerton ran disappointingly at Bangor last time out, He is adequate enough at this level. Vacario is another of Charlie Mann's horses to have been presented with a downgrade. On official BHA figures, he is one of the better hopes but the trainer's other runners at this level have produced a real mixed bag of results. Knar Mardy is worth another chance at the minimum trip after his recent placing at Southwell. Stir On The Sea is a rare Rebecca Curtis runner at this level but as she is in receipt of plenty of weight allowances she is a factor. Bold Policy should be a decent price and represents a worthwhile shot in the dark.
