Veteran Warsaw Pact will probably need this but he likes it here, having won over course and distance in March and finished third on his latest start in May. TAROUM beat Con Forza by five lengths on the bridle at Chepstow eight days ago and appears to be back to somewhere approaching his best. He may well be good enough to defy his penalty as the runner-up is still seeking a first victory over timber and Present Trend was getting no nearer in the spring. Galiotto won a seller over 2m here in May but is a bit of an enigma.
