Verdict

Bearaway and Erins Lass are the two to focus on with Bearaway taken to get back to winning ways. A winner at Worcester in July, he has run well in two quite competitive events since and, with Tony McCoy booked, looks to have the edge over Erin's Lass. She won at Market Rasen in August but was beaten there when returning the following month. Bosphorus was placed in number of low-grade handicaps on Wolverhampton's all-weather surface during the summer and will at least come here fit from the Flat for his hurdling debut. The trip will present no problem to him either. Un Autre Espere was well beaten in a seller on his hurdling debut and Telmar Flyer has very little to recommend him. It all points back to Bearaway who can provide the champion with another victory.
