In depth

Verdict

A wide open looking bumper and we are going to turn to the newcomers. Kate Of The West, No Directions and Marvellous Dream are the three to catch the eye on breeding and we will take a chance with the last named. Nicky Henderson's four-year-old is a well bred daughter of Muhtathir, and is realted to numerous hurdles and chase winners. The stable always have to be respected in bumpers and as long as the market isn't too negative she looks the one to be on. Kate Of The West is from a yard that don't have too many bumper winners but did land a race last year witha 66/1 chance, so it wouldn't be wise to totally discount this one. No Directions is from a yard that does well in this sphere and should be watched closely in the market, however on breeding she may prefer more cut in the ground. Iron Maid looks the pick of the experienced runners, but it is Marvellous Dream who gets the verdict.
