Ozzy Thomas was easy to back on his hurdling debut at Stratford last week and finished tailed off. He is surely better than that but may need more time. Mogestic ran Java Rose to six lengths at Warwick last month and the winner has gone again since. He's one for the short-list along with Uttoxeter winner Come On Laurie. Former pointer GAMAIN wasn't beaten far when third to Ballybolley in a Towcester bumper in March. The winner went on to land a Grade 2 event at Aintree and has already been placed twice over hurdles so that form looks decent and Ben Case's charge could be a bit of value after a break. Stablemate Vinegar Hill and De Kerry Man looks best of the rest.
